“How can I pay for the training?”

We acccept payments via cash, BACS and cheque, but please note that payment must of cleared before the beginning of the course.

“Why should I choose Action Training?”

We have been offering quality training for over 13 years to the people of Stoke-on-Trent. Our director, Derek Foster, has been working on and around Forklift trucks for over 20 years and started our sister company, Action Midlands Ltd. Derek has passed his vast experience and knowledge onto our instructors, who are trained to the high standard of ITSSAR. Action Training can not only help you to gain your Forklift licences, but we also offer a CSCS package which includes; Level 1 Health & Safety Award, CSCS exam and card.

“What days are the centre open?”

Our opening times are; Monday – Friday 9am – 5pm excluding bank holidays.

“As a company, what if my candidates can not attend the centre for their training?”

We offer on-site training that will allow your candidates to experience the Forklift truck in their place of work. We have worked with a number of companies over the years, from local companies to internationally recognised clients.

“We have a number of candidates we wish to get tested, can you accommodate us?”

We have a large warehouse which can accommodate a number of candidates, however we are limited by a instructor to candidate ratio. This is to ensure you get the best possible training and that the instructor is there to guide you. For more information please contact our team by clicking here.

“We have a different types of Forklift truck that is not mentioned on the Forklift page, would you be able to train us?”

If you have a different type of Forklift truck on your premises, then we may still be able to help. The on-site training option may be more suitable in this case, but we most certainly will do our best to help you.

“I have never driven a Forklift truck before and don’t have a driving licence, can I still train?”

Not having any Forklift truck or driving experience will not hold you back. Forklift training does not require you to have a driving licence as it is a seperate licence.

“I have driven plant material before, would this help me on the Forklift training?”

Having any experience driving plant material may help you. If you are unsure, we offer a free Forklift assessment to help you to identify the most suited course for you. To book a free assessment, please contact our team by clicking here.

“What do I need to bring with me when attending the centre for my training?”

We advise you wear strong comfortable safety shoes when working in the warehouse. During cold weather the warehouse can become a little on the cool side, therefore we do advise you to bring warm clothing. Our centre also has a fridge and microwave so you can store your dinner and cook it if needed. Hot drink facilities are also available free of charge.

“How much notice do you need for me to book my course?”

We are running courses all the time. Please contact us by clicking here to discuss course dates.
